Three simple patterns.
Box breathing
4 · 4 · 4 · 4- Breathe in through your nose for four counts.
- Hold for four.
- Breathe out slowly for four.
- Hold for four, then repeat.
4-7-8 breathing
4 · 7 · 8- Breathe in quietly through your nose for four counts.
- Hold for seven.
- Breathe out through your mouth for eight.
- Repeat for a few rounds.
Even breathing
5 · 5- Breathe in for five counts.
- Breathe out for five.
- Keep the rhythm soft and steady.
