This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit www.flameappsdevelopment.com (the “website”). Our apps have their own privacy policies, listed in section 7.

1) The short version

  • The website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
  • It uses no analytics tools, no tracking, no advertising and no social media plugins.
  • Fonts, images and scripts come from our own website. While you are here, your browser loads nothing from other companies.
  • The interactive demos (breathing exercise, dartboard, checkout calculator and the app demos) run only in your browser. They send nothing anywhere and do not use your microphone or camera.
  • Like every website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider, which processes your IP address (section 2).

2) Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service of Google. When you open a page, your browser sends the usual technical data with its request: your IP address, the address of the page, the date and time, information about your browser (such as its type and language) and, if your browser passes it on, the page you came from.

Google uses the IP addresses of incoming requests to deliver the pages, to detect abuse and attacks, and to give us statistics about how the website is used. According to Google, Firebase Hosting keeps IP data “for a few months” (Firebase privacy information). We have not set up any export of these request logs to our own systems, and we do not combine them with other data or use them to identify you or build profiles.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to deliver the website reliably and securely and to protect it against attacks. You are not obliged to provide your IP address, but without it your browser cannot receive the pages.

Google acts as our processor under the Google Cloud data processing terms. Google may process the data on servers outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. For such transfers, the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission apply (Google Cloud Standard Contractual Clauses).

The download buttons and QR codes lead to Google Play. So that we can tell which page and button a download came from, these links carry campaign tags (for example utm_source=website and the name of the page). The tags describe our website, not you. If you install one of our apps, Google Play passes the tags to the app as the source of the installation; what the app does with them is described in its privacy policy.

To show the right download button, the website checks in your browser what kind of device you are using. This check happens only in your browser, and its result is not sent anywhere.

When you follow a link to another website, its operator is responsible for the data processed there. For Google Play, Google’s privacy policy applies.

4) When you email us

The website has no contact form. If you write to info@flameappsdevelopment.com, we process your email address, your message and any other data you include in it, in order to answer you.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message concerns a contract with us or steps before one (for example a question about a subscription); otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering your questions.

Our email runs on Google Workspace. Google processes the messages on our behalf as our processor.

We delete your messages once your request has been dealt with, unless commercial or tax law requires us to keep them, or we need them to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5) Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • have processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the country where you live or work. The authority responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

To exercise your rights, email us at info@flameappsdevelopment.com.

6) No automated decisions

We make no automated decisions about you and do no profiling based on your visit.

7) Our apps

This policy covers only the website. What happens to your data in our apps is described in each app’s own privacy policy:

8) Changes to this policy

We update this policy when a change to the website affects your data. The date at the top shows the current version.
